...All my stories are a mixture of fact and fiction.

Please bear that in mind.

It is up to you as the reade to try and differentiate the two.

My estimation: They are ninety five percent the truth.

I often take ocurences of fact and transpose them to another story; an example of this occurs in The Malawi story.

The sexual encounter viewed by on-lookers actually occured in the Transki not Malawi.

As regards the Attic, the tennant was called "Karl" but he was Polish not Hungarian. Karl did commit suicide in the Attic. One of my closest friends is Hungarian who lost his closest friend in the 1956 Hungarian uprising.

So, by using personal memories mixed with fiction, I am trying to piece together the stories for dramatic effect.

And "Yes" I did sleep in the Attic after Karl's suicide.Sir Cess Poolehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16834205278008968659noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5902263687236938586.post-28314615321783271152015-07-28T20:14:21.374+02:002015-07-28T20:14:21.374+02:00I want to ask you a frank question. You can see the building wooden joists and the tiles. It sometimes has a window, either in the wall or in the roof. This one had one in the wall. Loft is and can be used instead. It is usually a room just under the roof that has a ceiling. An Attic always has a stairway. A loft the ladder has to be used or swung down. Whatever you call it it must be dingy, oppresively hot, and a small habitable room under the rafters. Hope this helps.Sir Cess Poolehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16834205278008968659noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5902263687236938586.post-74114583368932941132015-07-17T18:22:28.560+02:002015-07-17T18:22:28.560+02:00Wonderful story!
